Editorial Independence

South Florida Trim Clinic's editorial content is independent from our commercial operations. Clinical information is not influenced by marketing objectives, medication availability, or business considerations. No advertiser, sponsor, or commercial partner controls or influences our medical content.

Our revenue comes exclusively from telehealth medical weight loss services provided to enrolled patients. We do not accept payment for editorial coverage, sponsored clinical articles, or paid mentions of medications or brands.

Our Medical Editorial Team

Medical and clinical content on this website is reviewed by licensed medical providers who practice at South Florida Trim Clinic. All reviewing providers hold active licenses in their respective states and maintain current knowledge in obesity medicine, GLP-1 pharmacotherapy, and telehealth delivery of care.

Full provider credentials, biographies, and license information are disclosed to enrolled patients at the time of consultation. Individual provider attribution on public-facing educational content is pending clinical staff approval and will be updated on an ongoing basis.

Provider Attribution Status (July 2026): Clinical content is reviewed by licensed providers. Named individual attribution is being implemented and will appear on each medical page as provider consent is confirmed. This process is standard practice for HIPAA-compliant healthcare websites.

Clinical Content Standards

All medical claims must be supported by FDA prescribing information, peer-reviewed research, or guidance from recognized medical organizations such as the Obesity Medicine Association or The Endocrine Society.
Content must not make unsupported outcome claims. Phrases like 'guaranteed results,' 'will cause weight loss,' or 'cures obesity' are prohibited.

South Florida Trim Clinic cites authoritative, publicly verifiable sources for clinical claims. We prioritize sources in this order:

2. Medical review

A licensed provider reviews the draft for clinical accuracy, appropriate scope, and compliance with current prescribing standards.

3. Editorial review

The content team reviews for clarity, reading level, YMYL compliance, and consistency with other site content.

4. Publication

Content is published with a 'datePublished' date in schema and a visible 'Last reviewed' date on the page.

5. Ongoing review

Major medical content pages are reviewed at minimum annually, or sooner when relevant regulatory updates occur (e.g., FDA label changes, new trial data).

Corrections Policy
